洛杉矶港10月集装箱吞吐量下滑

LA port follows other West Coast facilities with box volume down in October

PORT of Los Angeles announced that containerised imports declined 3.3 per cent in October compared to the same month in 2014, following a trend that saw West Coast ports losing some market share last month while East Coast ports gained.

LA port, the largest US container port, also reported a decline in exports of 14.7 per cent, with total container volume, including loaded import and export containers, and empty containers, down 1.55 per cent from October last year, the IHS Media reported.
